Requesting a new audit


Step 1 – Download audit request template:

If you do not already have a template available, please download the template attached to this article.


Step 2 – Fill out the request template:

Add the details of all your targets to the template. Each target should be on a separate row. Each field is described below:


Target Reference Number (If Known)
Our unique reference for the property. If you already know the Target Reference number of the Target, please add. Otherwise, leave blank

Target Name
The name of the property you would like to audit

Address details of the property you would like to audit.

Target Town or City
The Town or City the property is located in

Step 3 – Send request to helpdesk:

Please send the completed template to Support.checkpoint@intertek.com and await the results of matching process. This process searches the system database and try to find the closest matching records to those provided in the template. Once complete, we will return the template to you with some additional columns:


Fuzzy Target reference
The unique reference for the closest matching record in checkpoint to the Target details that were provided.
Fuzzy Target Name
The property/company name of the closest matching record in checkpoint to the Target details that were provided.
Fuzzy Target Address
The address details of the closest matching record in checkpoint to the Target details that were provided.
Fuzzy Target Country
The Country the closest matching record is located in
Most recently completed physical audit
The audit type of the most recently completed audit for the matched record. (We send this information in case you would like to buy in)
Audit Date
The date the most recent audit was completed. (We send this information in case you would like to buy in)
Most recently completed self assessment
The audit type of the most recently completed audit for the matched record. (We send this information in case you would like to buy in)
Audit Date
The date the most recent self assessment was completed. (We send this information in case you would like to buy in)

Step 4 – Reply to Fuzzy match:

Once you have received the results of the fuzzy match, please verify that each match is correct and mark any incorrect matches in the template. You should also indicate if you would like to purchase the results of the completed audits, and send the completed template back to us. Once these steps have been completed we will start the process of loading your requests on to the system.

Step 5 - Confirmation audits have been added

Once we have added the audits onto the system, we will send you a summary report with all the relevant details.
