Category - Property Information
Genre - General

Hotel:  can be enclosed or of open construction (corridors open to air), typically consisting of multiple upper floors which provides accommodation, often has public areas and facilities which can include, but are not limited to; swimming pool(s), bar(s), restaurant(s), gym, spa area, etc.

Aparthotel:  This type of property has self-catering kitchen facilities but also contains restaurants for customer dining. Can be enclosed or of open construction (corridors open to air). Can include other public facilities such as swimming pool(s), bar(s), restaurant(s), gym, spa area, etc.

Apartment(s): self-contained, fully equipped self-catering apartments. It can be in purpose built holiday apartment blocks or contained in buildings of multiple occupancy (e.g. mixed use buildings containing offices, residential apartments, other businesses, etc).

Single Stand-Alone Villa:  an independent holiday home, typically consisting of one or two floors.  Fully self-contained with a kitchen, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and may have access to a private pool.

Villa (part of a complex or group of Villas): - typically a resort with detached or semi-detached villas.  Villa’s will usually consist of one or two floors.  The resort will have facilities which can include (but are not limited to) swimming pool(s), bar(s), restaurant(s), gym, spa area, etc.

Single Stand-Alone Bungalow:  an independent holiday home of only ground floor.  Fully self-contained with a kitchen, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and may have a private pool.

Bungalow (part of a complex or group of Bungalows):   typically a resort with detached or semi-detached single storey (ground floor) bungalows.  The resort will have facilities which can include (but are not limited to) swimming pool(s), bar(s), restaurant(s), gym, spa area, etc.

Single Stand-Alone Chalet: A house or cottage consisting of one or two floors, usually made from wood and typically found in Alpine Regions.  Chalets are self-contained with kitchens, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

Chalet (part of a group or contains multiple guest rooms and public facilities):  typically a resort with independent or semi-detached Chalet’s.  The resort will have facilities like a hotel such as public areas, which can include (but are not limited to) swimming pool(s), bar(s), restaurant(s), gym, spa area.

Guesthouse or Pension:  a small, usually family run property, that rents out en-suite rooms, typically on a bed and breakfast basis.  There will be no facilities for guests to use.
